Since his first day on MSU’s campus, Joe has been an announcer for B1G+ as a member of the BigTenStudentU program. In 2026, he is a finalist for two MAB awards for Live Sports Coverage. Previously, he was the color analyst for the record breaking Michigan State vs Nebraska volleyball match, speaking to over 60,000 viewers. He has also covered men’s & women’s basketball, men’s & women’s soccer, baseball, wrestling, field hockey, baseball & softball as an announcer, studio host and replay operator. Record Breaking
Joe was the color commentator for Michigan State vs Nebraska Volleyball game, the most watched game ever on B1G+ with over 60,000 viewers. In 2025, he did play-by-play for the matchup and is currently a finalist for an MAB award.
Immediate Impact
During his first day on MSU’s campus (August 27th, 2022) Joe announced Michigan State vs Eastern Michigan Volleyball on B1G+.
Sideline Reporting & Studio Hosting
Joe is also well versed in sideline reporting, starting with his own sideline interviews in high school and progressing to B1G+ in college. He has also worked as the studio host for B1G+ multiple times over the past three years.
