Joe has served as the Sports Producer for Impact Radio, Michigan State’s student radio station, for the past year. Since joining the station in the fall of his freshman year, Joe has covered men’s basketball, women’s basketball, football and softball for the station. He also revitalized the station’s interview show, “Crunch Time,” with an entirely new format that has lead to continued success.
Crunch Time
Joe reinvented the station’s retired interview show, “Crunch Time.” The new format included a more rapid format to fit with modern trends, investigative research on each guest and many comedic bits to entertain the audience. Joe refers to the show as “one of, if not the best thing I’ve created.” The show can be found on the WDBMSports Instagram (or at the bottom of this page).
Sports Producer
Joe serves as the producer for Impact’s weekly sports talk show, The Green and White Report. In his first year as the producer, Joe has increased the average monthly downloads of the show by 240%. (Click the image to see all episodes)
Play-by-Play
Joe has announced 20 MSU women’s basketball games, four men’s basketball games and Michigan State vs Rutgers football for the Impact Station in his sophomore year.
